This past May 2003 marked the 9th successful collaboration between Asian/Pacific Islander employees of three federal agencies (EPA, HUD, USDA) to jointly celebrate activities in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

 This year's cultural program featured Asian folk songs from different countries performed by the Sunrise Chorus; a classical Indian dance troupe; and Hawaiian and Tahitian dance with live musical accompaniment, performed by Kupa'a Pacific Island Resources.  This year's keynote speaker was John Duong, Executive Director of the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, from Washington, DC.
